NY Flora Atlas

This revised atlas is based on the same database as that used by the Florida Vascular Plant Atlas.  The database code was developed by the University of South Florida.  Funding for the project was provided by the Biodiversity Research Institute.  The New York State Museum maintains the database server.  Many thanks for David Gerhard (NY State Museum) and Shawn Landry (University of South Florida) for their work during this project. 

We also invite you to view our county distribution map.  Do you know the counties that have the most species reported?  What about the fewest?  From this page, you can get the most up-to-date county flora checklist generated dynamically from the NY Flora Atlas database.  This should assist you in finding new county records.
